Annihilating Dreams

Systematization Without Representation –
Annihilating Dreams

What I truly love about entertainment industry mogul Oprah Winfrey, is the joy that she experiences in collaborating with other leaders to help make dreams come true and evoke happiness in the lives of those less fortunate.  Oprah used the saint like spirit of Stevie Wonder to make the “joy rise” in the lives of Shanta and Jake. They are truly blessed to have been recipients of such kindness.  Also among the fortunate is Diamond White, who wowed The X Factor judges and the audiences with her phenomenal rendition of, “The Godfather of Soul,” James Brown’s, This is a Man’s World.   I pray that like, Jennifer Hudson, Diamond White, our neighbor, can gain success from her X Factor Journey.  It would be such a shame for her to return to a shoebox apartment located in a resort style community but where many of the apartments have mold, mildew, asbestos containing material (ACM) falling, and deteriorated counters, sinks and door locks. The potential long-term effect that breathing microscopic ACM dust can have on the lungs can be lethal.

Diamond received a taste of systematization last week on The X Factor when, she was prematurely eliminated by Brittney Spears in the round where the judges decided who goes home.  With Diamond's positive attitude, Simon’s well wishes, and Blessings from Above, Diamond will surely be rescued from the possibility of being infected due to living in a residential complex that has live ACM dust present in several locations. This is the kind of systematization that is attempting to annihilate the life-long dreams of TrueVine Artist, NegusRA. With the help of family, friends, teachers, supporters and community organizers, this up-and-coming actor, rap-ologist and masterful sound technician, was able to excel from the clutches of violence that is claiming the lives of youth at an alarming rate in too many inner-city neighborhoods throughout America.

This young artist and his mother, who relocated here after coming to visit her son and finding him experiencing consistent illness due to the living conditions, are encountering bureaucracies that do not include expeditiously ensuring the safety of individuals and their personal property.  Governing authorities are bounded by rules and regulations in cases involving issues related to the presence of friable ACM and air quality. There seems to be a history of local property owners and their executive leadership teams not being held accountable for implementing appropriate habitability plans for residents during asbestos removal and repairs in the city of Los Angeles.

The devastation, resulting from systematic oppression that could cause detriment to ones lungs and the willful depletion of the governmental living assistance loans for citizens to pursue their life-long dreams through education, and/or update their skills, is unduly distressful. A mother and her child seeking the American Dream, made huge sacrifices to relocate to Los Angeles only to have real-estate management bullies use the court system in an attempt to further retaliate against,  harass, intimidate and take control over tenants' assets before tenants can even get answers to questions about the procedure for removing items that are suspected to have been exposed to ACM particle dust. Although educational loans are the only major source of income for these emerging entertainment industry professionals, legal representation cannot be provided free to them.  For them to have representation, they will have to use the governmental loans designated for educational purposes.

At TrueVine our goal is to anticipate potential problems that may arise and have real plans in place which can immediately effectuate actions that have expeditious and exact resolutions  that manifest harmony.  To address systematization, it must first be exposed.  This is where social networking would work to generate what I call, magnanimity without hesitation.  On the right vine-line,  there could be an angelic one who could turn this situation into a positive one in the twinkling of an eye.  Magnanimity without hesitation is, altruism in its purest form, simply taking the time out to do what needs to be done in order to perpetuate productivity and life. It is time for all who become aware of unjust systematization to do what ever you know you can do to immediately help the situation at hand.  It could be as simple as a kind comment  or a lead that could overt and save the lives of those who aspire but are less fortunate in their current ability to rise above injustices on their own.

We must join forces with other leaders, like Oprah, Stevie, Dr. Phil, Iyanla Vanzant, and other philanthropist; to reverse systematization without representation, to stop the undue annihilation of dreams, and the infringement upon one's intellectual property and creativity.  Join the magnanimity without hesitation nation and save someone's life today.  Help someone to keep their dreams alive through participation.  Please join the conversation.  Systematization is a serious issue that is causing destitution among creative artists.  No student should be forced to take valuable time or financial resources from their journey to achieving their inner most goals.  This is an expensive journey that is expected to be repaid shortly after completion of the program.   Everyone on the NegusRA team is maintaining a positive attitude and meeting these challenges knowing that there is a solution.

  1. Wow! I Am so overjoyed that, in the twinkling of an eye, an answer to a prayer for Diamond White, and a perfect example of how engaging in, what I have coined as, "Magnanimity without Hesitation" proves that “dreams can come true", Cowell http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xuxifn_diamond-white-top-13-the-x-factor-usa-2012_tv.

This makes, the X Factor's Simon Cowell and team, honorary members of the Magnanimity without Hesitation Nation, where we all move forward with positivity, and transform dreams into realities.
