Adopt a Healthy Lifestyle

INSIGHT TO WIN THE SYSTEMATIZATION FIGHT:

The Healthy Kids Association (HKA), located in New South Wales (NSW), near Sidney, Australia, is committed to promoting and influencing healthy food choices for children.  HKA began in 1991 as the NSW School Canteen Association and has grown to include over 1700 membership canteens.  The canteens are comprised of Public, Catholic, and Independent schools.  The primary focus of HKA is to “promote and influence healthy food choices for children.” My interest in Healthy Kids was catapulted by their objective to, “support and promote food and catering industries wishing to provide nutritious foods for schools through fostering positive relationships.”

Man’s first passion was, and still is eating.  We come into this existence looking to feed on our mothers’ milk.  We inherently know that eating is fundamental for us to live and grow.  It is organizations such as Healthy Kids that provide us insight into how what we eat is essential to, not only our overall health, but also to our creativity, our positive flow, and our ability to accomplish our life pursuits. TrueVine Entertainment is one of the sibling companies of SunVine, sponsors of Queen’s Cuisine.

Establishing alliances with HKA will assist SunVine executives in their goal to make the same nutritious beverages and foods provided to their artists, special guests and friends, available to school children worldwide.  Additionally, partnering with organizations such as HKA will afford SunVine affiliates the opportunity to assist in educating youth and their families about preparing healthy alternatives to sugary treats. SunVine products are taste tantalizing, palate pleasing, soul fulfilling, and naturally healthy.

While TrueVine Entertainment emerging artists are at the forefront, of taking care of business and entertaining youth, SunVine and Queen’s Cuisine will discuss how eating healthy has helped our artist increase their creativity to write, produce and perform musical compositions.  We will increase student buy-in to eating healthy by, providing short interactive demonstrations on how to prepare healthy beverages, meals, and snacks.  Our collaboration event with HKA will culminate with providing gifts that include samples of our beverages, organic cookies and other treats to participants.  Once school canteen personnel, parents, and students are educated about how to prepare simple, healthy meals that taste good, and know where to purchase healthy products, schools will no longer be faced with food that’s so hard for students to swallow, that more that 40% of it ends in the lunchroom trash.  Student protest and plate waste will decrease, test scores will increase and childhood obesity and related diseases will also decrease.

Eating healthy is paramount to being energized and prepared to win the fight against systematization and to achieving ones dreams.

Love Letters to Strangers

I think the only thing that could trump
The Joy Felt from a single heart shaped
rose is a Love Letter from a Stranger.

A "Sucker Punch" to Systematization!

Wow! Do I remember those days of waiting for the postman! Although, today I could not tell you why I was always excited to see the postman.  Maybe it was because I knew that monthly checks came in the mail or maybe a song influenced me.  The only time we really got mail was at Christmas time.  We would get those glittery cards from relatives.  As I got older, it seemed that the only thing the postman brought to me were bills, more bills and past due bills.  In fact, letter writing has long been an antiquated art in many households.  Hannah Brencher, the author of Love Letters to Strangers from Ted.com, had a very different experience in her home, where her mother required old-fashioned hand written letters as opposed to emails and text messages.  Another Ted.com speaker recounts the rich legacy that handwritten letters leaves for our posterity.

To battle melancholia at a time in her life when she was feeling very low, Hannah, began to write the kind of letters that her mother once wrote to her, for strangers.  Hannah’s passion and her commitment to increasing her own joy by randomly leaving love letters around town is a profound demonstration of Magnanimity without Hesitation (MWH).  She ultimately posed a promise to the Internet, that she would write a handwritten letter to anyone who asked her for one.  As discussed in an earlier blog, MWH is the best defense to the kind of systematization that causes depression, distress, and pushes people to the edge of insanity.  Through her handwritten acts of kindness, Hannah hammered the nail that penetrated the pain of being bullied, empowered a man to give life another try, and helped a wife to deal with the spousal mental after shock of her husband returning from Afghanistan, war shocked.

One of the key obstructions to emerging artists achieving ultimate success in entertainment business results from the repercussions of feeling all-alone, having no one to share their pain.  Music is like those infectious love letters that ignited into fuel for the global energy of connective healing. The greatest solace that I find to life’s atrocities is in meditation and music. The author has inspired me to revisit the art of letter writing. I quote from a poem that I actually wrote years ago entitled
JUST ANOTHER LETTER TO MYSELF,
“Being failed by a system so bureaucratic,
seeking justice but there’s nothing but static…
I pray that this be my last cry,
my last letter to myself,
my last call to deaf ears.
I stand ready to Testify…”
If only I had known Hannah Brencher then.  Maybe I would have received one of those lift me up love letters from a stranger at a time when my heart needed it most. Witnessing the powerful response from the universe when Hannah decided to become proactive about the negativity that was trying to plague her life has inspired me to write another letter.  I will hand write this one in braille, personally autographed to my virtual mentor, who through melodic orchestration moves our souls to have a talk and find Comfort in THE ONE WHO LOVES us TRUE when confronted with the spills of systematization...queenstrue...
